Mithotyn - In the Sign of the Ravens

El primer disco de Mithotyn se lanzo con una edicion limitada de solo 1000 copias, pero en el 2002 se hizo un relanzamiento de El. La version japonesa incluye 2 bonus track pertenecientes a su demo Meadow in Silence de 1994 ("As Brothers Now Bonded" y "In The Bower of Shadows"). Los temas 'Upon Raging Waves', 'Where My Spirit Shall Forever Be' y 'Upon Raging Waves'son re-grabaciones de las pistas de su promo de 1996.

Mithotyn

Mithotyn es una banda de Viking Metal sueca que se formo en el año 1992 bajo el nombre de Cerberus, con el cual publicaron una maqueta , para luego cambiarse el nombre al año siguente, pero no fue hasta 1997 que publicaron su primer album. Desgraciadamente en el año 1999 y despues de publicar 3 discos, la banda se disuelve y dos de sus integrantes, Stefan Weinerhall y Karsten Larsson, forman la banda de Power Metal Falconer. Sus letras hablan sobre la mitologia escandinava y en general sobre temas vikingos.
